I have no formal training in fine arts. I have a B.Sc. in biology and a Ph.D. in biochemistry.  I bought a MIG welder to fix my old farm tractor and learned by welding nails.

 

I have a very simple approach to art appreciation.  I think that if it needs an explanation, it’s usually not worth much in the end. 

 

I prefer to do one in a million, not a million of one.  It means very few copies. And if that should happen, each one has to have its unique character. 

 

I sincerely apologize to everyone for being such a bad photographer. Can’t even take a picture of a building without chopping its roof.
